Hotel Illa d´Or can be found 1,5 km from the centre of Puerto de Pollensa by the beach of Albercux, 4 km from the fabulous Formentor peninsula, 8 km from Pollensa town and 10 km from the coves of Cala San Vicente.

A gentle stroll along the Pine walk by the side of the sea, shaded by one hundred year old pine and tamarisk trees, will take you to the centre of Puerto Pollensa. At the Yacht Club you will find all kinds of water sports available, windsurfing, snorkelling, diving, dinghy sailing, fishing and kayaking amongst others.

Hotel Illa d´Or is framed by all the hues of blue of the Mediterranean on one side and by the majestic mountains of the Tramuntana range on the other. Declared World Heritage site by the UNESCO in 2011, this is a great base for all sorts of mountain activities, hiking of varying degrees of difficulty and length, canyoning, climbing, coastering and caving.

The unique coastal geography of the area means you have 10 amazing beaches with crystalline waters to enjoy nearby, some of which can only be reached on foot, and all of which are veritable havens of natural beauty.

The Hotel and family of Illa d´Or have been fortunate to live some extraordinary times since it was founded in 1929. Environmental commitment

In an environment as privileged as the Tramuntana mountain range, declared World heritage site by the UNESCO, Hotel Illa d´Or and its entire staff stand out for their unwavering compromise, love for the land and respect for their natural surroundings.

The Hotel Illa d´Or has seen many changes in the years since it was founded in 1929, and for this very reason and due to a deep rooted sense of belonging, the family of Hotel Illa d´Or has fought to maintain and preserve the natural surroundings of Pollença.

Hotel Illa d´Or supports a high quality and environmentally active management system based on respectful and sustainable practices, at all levels and in all departments. By choosing our suppliers, equipment and personnel with care we aim to be the least environmentally aggressive as possible.

A coherent buying policy, energy and water saving methods, efficient technical systems, and good internal practices transmitted to our entire personnel team; these are only some examples of our philosophy. We are aware of how important our activity is and its environmental impact on the area we live, and so we wish to preserve this privileged legacy, a veritable gift of nature, for generations to come.

Illa d'Or Hotel has the recognition in Quality of SICTED and Environment surveys of Travellife.
